CitaDelv Weekly Update 5/23

It’s going to be a busy week at CitaDelv. We are releasing a lot of content, hosting our first Giveaway, and announcing a new team member. If you didn’t get a chance to look at our last weeks update, which includes our Litepaper and Partnership Announcement, you can read it here.
This week, will will announce a New Team Member, give details around our First CitaDelv Giveaway, and the release of our maps North East Quadrant.
Giveaway — Pioneer Badge
CitaDelv is hosting our first in-game content giveaway! This week, we will be giving the opportunity for our Discord and Twitter communities to win one of ten Pioneer Badges, which will be wearable badges in CitaDelv to members of our First 500 to be able to show off that they were an early settler in CitaDelv.
The Pioneer Badge will be minted as an NFT on the Cardano Blockchain, and we will be minting 10 Initial Badges for our community. It is likely that we will mint variations of the Pioneer Badges going forward, but these will always be the Original 10 and will be reflected as such. In order to ensure you are able to enter the raffle, be sure to follow our Twitter and join our Discord. The majority of the Badges will be awarded to members of our Discord Community.
CitaDev Hiring — Tim as 3D Graphics Designer
CitaDelv has made our first hire since initial launching, bringing on Tim as our 3D graphics designer. Tim will be focused on creating 3D assets for NFTs as well as in-game assets in Unity.
Tim has extensive experience with graphics design, both professionally and as a personal hobby, and the CitaDelv team is incredibly excited to have his experience on our side. Stay tuned for Tim’s official announcement and addition to the team on our Website this week.
Map Release — North East Quadrant
Tomorrow the 24th, we will be releasing the 2nd Quadrant of our Medieval Era’s Map. As part of our goal to make CitaDelv not just a Metaverse, we are making an expansive and massive world so that we have truly immersive MMORPG gameplay. We want to make a world you can truly get lost in, with endless lands to explore and points of interest to discover.
There will also be a special giveaway opportunity linked to this Map, with one of the Pioneer Badges being awarded to the first CitaDelv community member to ‘solve’ our puzzle. This will be announced on Twitter this week, so be sure to follow our Twitter and turn on notifications if you want to have the first opportunity to win.
Question of the Week
What is your favorite time period for an MMO to take place in?
CitaDelv will be releasing many Era’s — different time periods that exists on the same world, allowing players to traverse time and explore how the world and the lore changes across Era’s. We have selected 5 Era’s that we want to include as part of the world so far, but will be allowing CitaDelv members to vote on the order in which they release. If you have a time period you find particularly exciting, let us know so that we can consider it for our release schedule!
